Training & Competence Compliance Consultant (Home Based)

We're expanding our team and recruiting for a Training & Competence Compliance Consultant.
In this role you'll deliver a proactive training and competence service to directly authorised firms who are members of the Training Competence & Certification Scheme.
This is a home based role and the salary is up to £37,000 pa plus a wide range of competitive and flexible benefits.
What you'll be doing
- Creating and maintaining effective relationships with TC&CS firms, increasing knowledge and understanding of their business
- Creating and delivering an appropriate programme of remote T&C visits to meet the requirements of firms
- Producing and delivering accurate firm and adviser reports and action plans to provide firms with evidence in relation to their regulatory obligations and ongoing development
- Providing feedback on file reviews to firms to highlight areas of risk and trends at firm and adviser level
- Ensuring delivery of Training & Competence Service with effective delivery of training needs analysis, skills assessments, one to ones and development plans
- Delivering other remote compliance services as and when required
- Mentoring/coaching Trainee future Training & Competence Compliance Consultants
What you need to succeed
- Previous experience working in T&C supervisory / compliance environment
- Level 4 qualification or working towards this
- Broad technical knowledge across all product areas
- Ability to analyse and deliver feedback to individuals including 1:1 meetings, file review output and skills assessments/role play
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills with a consultative approach
- Positive and proactive
- Flexible, ‘can do’ approach
- Willingness to learn and develop
